As-Built Surveys

As-built surveys may be used for commercial or residential properties. Their frequency and the number of As-Built surveys depends on the scope of the construction project. As-built surveys are important tools from the planning stage to the actual construction and future maintenance of future structures and improvements.

TKM Land Surveyors verifies the facts and certifies a drawing or map that accurately illustrates what was finally built. As-Built surveys shows the structures and improvements on a parcel of land along with swing ties to reference surveying monuments (i.e., hydrants, light poles, manholes, etc.).

The purpose of an as-built survey is to verify to local and state boards that the construction work authorized has been completed according to the same specifications set forth during the planning stage and shown in the site plan.
