If a land owner needs to have their property corners marked with a permanent monument, a “Record of Survey” will need to be filed with the County Surveyor. This is a very extensive survey of your property lines and the adjoining property lines to show all monumentation as well as relevant map and deed information that is used to determine the location of the property lines.
